関ヶ原　家康最初陣跡 (A Sekigahara Ieyasu trace)

こんにちは！Hello!今回は　天下分け目の関ヶ原、家康初陣跡です。

関ケ原町の東端、国道21号線・一ツ軒の交差点を東へ約200メートル行ったところに、三葉葵ののぼりが立っています。徳川家康初陣跡は、道路脇の上り口からすぐです。家康が関ケ原合戦の際、３万の兵を率いて最初に陣を配置したのが、この桃配山です。

国の史跡にも指定されているこの陣跡には、家康が使用したと伝えられる腰掛岩と机石があります。なお、桃配山は、壬申の乱のときに大海人皇子（天武天皇）が野上の行宮からこの山へ出陣して、兵士を励まし、桃を配ったという伝説からついた名称です。
